The vibe at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, is always energetic as the Institute keeps hosting interesting activities for its students to experience holistic growth. Recently, the HR Club of AIMETC organised a quiz competition titled ‘HR Mastermind’. The event saw enthusiastic participation from MBA, BBA, and BCom (H) students, showcasing their knowledge of HR terminologies and concepts.
The competition served as an excellent platform for students to apply HR theories in a competitive setting, enhancing both their learning and interpersonal skills. The event not only fostered academic development but also promoted teamwork and problem-solving abilities, crucial for their future careers in HR management.
The event was convened by Dr. R.R. Rajan Chaudhary, Dean, School of Management, and coordinated by Dr. Anuradha Manhas, along with student coordinators Ms. Dollcy Sharma (MBA III) and Ms. Nishika (BBA V), who effectively executed the competition.
Subsequently, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, praised the students’ HR knowledge and encouraged further participation in such events. He congratulated the winners and motivated all participants to continue engaging in co-curricular activities organised by the institute’s student clubs.


After a rigorous preliminary round, Team 6 (Samiti and Kunika from MBA III) secured first place, followed by Team 2 (Prabhsimran and Simranjit from BBA V) in second place, and Team 5 (Naina and Harshita Bhatia from MBA III) in third.
Sharing her thoughts Nishika Mogla, who is pursuing BBA expressed, “The HR mastermind competition provided me a great opportunity to enhance my HR skills. The competition helped me reinforce key HR theories while improving quick-thinking and problem-solving abilities under time pressure.It was really a fruitful activity.”

Another student Dollcy Sharma mentioned, “It was a great opportunity for me to participate in the HR club event. HR Mastermind Competition provided a holistic experience to me to enhance my knowledge regarding Human resource management. I came across various parameters and also gave me exposure to advance my knowledge. It was a learning experience.”
