Students of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, made a mark on the global stage with their stellar performance at the prestigious SpellBee International competition. Participants from classes III to XII competed against students from around the world, demonstrating their linguistic prowess and exceptional spelling abilities.
With rigorous preparation and dedication, several Apeejay students reached the final round, confidently spelling complex words that challenged even the most seasoned competitors. Their hard work paid off, as they showcased not just their academic skills, but also their determination and focus under pressure.
Principal Ms Surabhi Joshi and Vice-principal Ms Vandana Bansal expressed immense pride in the students’ accomplishments, noting how such platforms play a crucial role in honing essential academic skills. “These competitions help build confidence, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for language,” said Ms. Joshi.
Ms Bansal added, “The success of our students reflects their commitment to excellence and their ability to compete at an international level.”

The students were honoured with international accolades under the categories of ‘Accomplishment’ and ‘Achievement in Distinction,’ bringing great prestige to the school. Their triumph at the Spell Bee competition is a testament to Apeejay’s focus on academic excellence and its nurturing of well-rounded individuals.
Speaking about the event, Kirti Verma, Relationship Manager at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park shares, “SpellBee International is an educational research organisation that has served 5000-plus schools and certified 20,00,000-plus students in English language skill development in the past 14 years and this year as well, we are facilitating the SpellBee Excel Programme in our schools. There are a total of four levels, all of which are covered in the Spellbee Excel Programme: Inter-School Level, State Level, National Level, and International Level.”
