Share your recent achievements and success stories.
I secured second place in a national-level dance competition. Dancing has been my passion since childhood, and I have consistently participated in performances. Over the years, I have won several prizes for solo dance competitions at my school, which has motivated me to continue improving my skills.
What inspired you to pursue dance?
Watching dance shows on television inspired me to pursue dance. The performers’ energy, creativity, and expressions fascinated me and sparked my interest at a young age. These shows motivated me to start learning dance and gradually develop it into a serious passion and an important part of my life.
How do you balance extracurricular activities with academics?
I balance academics and extracurricular activities through careful time management. I study for at least one hour every day apart from school to stay focused on my studies. Each night, I relax by dancing to a song, which helps me practice my skills while refreshing my mind.
How did the school support your journey?
It has played an important role in supporting my journey by organising several dance competitions that gave me opportunities to perform and grow. My teachers have been extremely supportive, encouraging, and affectionate, always motivating me to improve my skills and build confidence through their constant guidance and belief in my abilities.
Who is your favourite dancer and why?
My teacher at the school is my favourite dancer and my greatest inspiration. I aspire to be as skilled as her because she is a true master of her craft. Her grace, dedication, and passion for dance, along with her ability to teach so effectively, motivate me to constantly improve and learn.
