Tell us about the recent competitions you participated in.
I recently participated in a Madhubani art competition held at Vishwa Bharti School, Greater Noida. The event provided a wonderful platform to showcase my artistic skills, creativity, and understanding of traditional Indian folk art while competing with talented participants from different schools.
How did you develop an interest in co-curricular activities?
While growing up, I developed a strong interest in drawing and sketching. I spent a lot of time creating artworks, and with regular practice, my skills gradually improved. Along with art, I developed a passion for karate. I started training at the early age of four, enjoyed practising kata, and through dedication and discipline, I have now earned a black belt.
How have these activities honed your personality?
Art and karate have played an important role in shaping my personality. Both activities enhance my visual thinking and strengthen my creative approach. Through art, I can express my ideas and emotions more clearly, while karate has taught me discipline, focus, and confidence. Together, they have helped me develop better self-expression, emotional balance, and a positive, determined attitude toward challenges in everyday life.
Tell us about your practice regime.
Since art is my hobby, I practice my artistic skills daily at home after school. I usually practice on my own, but whenever I feel stuck, I take references from the internet for guidance. For karate, I regularly attend my training classes to improve my techniques and discipline.
Would you like to pursue a career in any of the fields ahead?
At present, art and karate are my hobbies, and I enjoy practising them in my free time. However, I remain open to the possibility of pursuing one of these fields as a career in the future, depending on my interests, growth, and the opportunities that come my way.
