Share about your recent achievements in MUN.

I have actively participated in several MUNs, both within and outside school. A major milestone was serving in the Secretariat of AISMUN’25 as USG Marketing, where I gained leadership experience and contributed to organizing a successful conference.

How did you pick interest in the same?

My interest in MUN began by observing my friends, whose confidence and critical thinking stood out. Recognizing these qualities in them motivated me to participate, and over time, mun significantly boosted my self-esteem and ability to express my thoughts confidently.

How has this activity honed you holistically?

MUN has enhanced my critical thinking, research, and communication skills. It has taught me to analyze global issues practically, and respond thoughtfully. I got to learn skills that are beyond academics, and helps to deal with real life decision making.

How did your school support your journey?

Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, has consistently encouraged MUN participation by organizing annual conferences led by students. The school also motivates us to attend external MUNs, providing opportunities to represent the institution and gain wider exposure and experience.

What is your biggest takeaway from MUN?

My biggest takeaway from MUN is the confidence to express my ideas fearlessly while staying open to others perspectives. It has taught me patience, and the importance of having knowledgeable opinions in meaningful discussions and real world situations.

Would you consider joining MUN in future?

Yes, definitely. MUNs are not only engaging but also connect you with a whole wide community across schools, colleges, and universities. This exposure builds networks, broadens perspectives, and strengthens skills.
