In a candid conversation, the young dancer from Apeejay School, Greater Noida, shares how discovering a unique fusion of hip-hop and classical dance has brought her profound peace and purpose. Share a few of your recent achievements.
My recent achievement includes a trophy for being the Best Dancer of the School during the Annual Appreciation Day function for the academic year 2024–25. This achievement holds great significance for me as it reflects my dedication, practice, and passion for dance.
How did you pick interest in this art form?
I developed an interest in dance at a very young age. Watching performances and expressing myself through music and movement inspired me to pursue dance. Gradually, it became a meaningful way for me to showcase my creativity and emotions.
How does the school support your journey?
My school has always encouraged and supported my dance journey by providing opportunities to perform at various events and functions. The teachers and management appreciated my talent and motivated me to grow with confidence.


How has dancing honed your personality?
Dancing has helped me become more confident, disciplined, and expressive. It has improved my communication skills, stage presence, and ability to perform under pressure. Dance has also taught me the value of consistency and teamwork.
Would you like to take this up as a profession?
Yes, I would like to take up dance as my profession in the future. Dance is my passion, and I aspire to explore various dance forms and build a successful career in this field.
Who is your inspiration and why?
My inspiration is my dance teacher, who continuously guides and motivates me to improve, and the music group BTS, whom I have admired for the last five to six years. Their dedication, discipline, and powerful performances inspire me to work harder every day.
Share something about the uniqueness of your fusion dance form.
My fusion dance style is unique because it blends different dance styles with modern music and expressive movements. I enjoy experimenting with choreography and adding my personal touch, which makes my performances distinctive.
