Share your recent achievements in swimming.
I won a silver medal in the 200-metre butterfly at the 42nd Sub Junior Haryana State Swimming Championships 2025, Round 2, held at HL City. Competing against talented swimmers, I delivered a strong performance and achieved second place. This accomplishment reflects my dedication, consistent training, and passion for improving my skills in competitive swimming.
How did swimming happen to you?
It became a part of my life because my school had a swimming pool where I first started learning and practising. My coach at school constantly encouraged me to improve, and my mother always supported and motivated me. Their guidance and belief in me helped me develop my passion and confidence in swimming.
Who is your favourite swimmer and inspiration?
My favourite swimmer is Michael Phelps, whose dedication and incredible achievements inspire me to work harder in swimming. My greatest inspiration is my mother because she is very hard-working and courageous. Her constant support, strength, and determination motivate me to stay focused, overcome challenges, and always give my best in everything I do.

How did your school support your journey?
The school provided excellent facilities, especially the swimming pool and training support. Whatever I have achieved today is largely because of the opportunities, encouragement, and environment my school gave me.
How has swimming helped in your holistic growth?
It has helped me grow both physically and mentally. It keeps me fit, improves my focus, and teaches me discipline in my daily routine. Over time, I began to see the sport as a relaxing activity for both body and mind, which made me enjoy the sport even more. It truly supports my overall development.
What are the challenges you faced in this sport?
One of the biggest challenges in swimming has been building strong stamina to perform well in long races. I also face mental pressure during competitions, which requires focus and confidence. Another challenge is continuously learning and improving proper techniques, which takes patience, practice, and determination to achieve better performance in the pool.
