Share about your recent participation in extracurricular activities.
I actively participated in various extracurricular activities throughout the year. I played the flute during the school’sIndependence Day programme and represented my school in an Inter-school debate competition. I was honoured to serve as an anchor at Manthan, which enhanced my confidence and communication skills. Additionally, I participated in the Acadia Model United Nations held at our school, gaining valuable experience in diplomacy and teamwork.
How did you pick these activities?

While studying in the United States, students were required to choose a musical instrument. I felt a natural inclination toward the flute, as I enjoyed its sound and found it interesting to learn. This opportunity helped me discover my interest in music and motivated me to continue playing the flute in school activities.
How has the flute changed your personality?
Playing the flute has positively shaped my personality by teaching me patience, responsibility, and the value of perfection. It has helped me understand that mastering a skill takes time, practice, and dedication, and that success cannot be achieved instantly but through consistent effort and perseverance.
How has the school supported your journey?
The school supported my journey by providing numerous opportunities to participate in major school events. These experiences helped me develop confidence, skills, and resilience. The encouragement and trust shown by the school motivated me to keep improving, overcome challenges, and never give up on my goals.
Who is your biggest motivation to learn the flute?
My biggest motivation to learn the flute is my mother. She has always been my first and most supportive audience, patiently listening to my practice sessions. Her constant encouragement, valuable feedback, and belief in my abilities inspire me to improve continuously and perform with confidence.
Who is your favourite flautist and why?
My favourite flautist is Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia because his music creates a deep emotional connection and feels pure and peaceful. His flute performances have a soothing quality that helps me relax, find calmness, and connect with music on a deeper level.
