What are you pursuing after school?

After completing school, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Chandigarh University. This course is helping me gain in-depth knowledge about human anatomy, rehabilitation, and therapeutic practices. It’s a step toward fulfilling my dream of becoming a skilled physiotherapist and contributing to the healthcare and well-being of others.

What is the scope of physiotherapy as a profession?

It offers diverse career opportunities. Professionals can work in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, or private clinics, and even establish their practice. Additionally, there is a growing demand in the field of sports, where physiotherapists play a crucial role in injury prevention, treatment, and enhancing athletic performance across various levels.

It’s a long road ahead to establish yourself as a physiotherapist. Your comments.

Establishing yourself as a physiotherapist is indeed a long and challenging journey. It requires immense dedication, focus, and precision. Being attentive in class is crucial, as the knowledge gained directly impacts patient care. Even a minor mistake can result in serious consequences, such as paralysis or loss of life. Therefore, it’s essential to approach the learning process with seriousness and commitment to ensure safe and effective treatment in the future.

What’s your advice to future aspirants?

My advice to future aspirants is: If you choose physiotherapy, be extremely attentive during classes and practice sessions. Precision and care are vital in this field, as even small mistakes can have serious consequences. Stay dedicated, keep learning, and always prioritise the safety and well-being of your future patients.

What kind of innovations does physiotherapy as a field require?

Physiotherapy as a field requires innovations in technology, treatment methods, and patient care approaches. Advancements like AI-assisted rehabilitation, wearable devices for real-time monitoring, and virtual therapy sessions can enhance outcomes. Emphasising personalised care and integrating interdisciplinary techniques can also significantly improve the effectiveness and accessibility of physiotherapy treatments.

Share your favourite nostalgia from school?

My favourite school nostalgia takes me back to childhood days filled with laughter, mischief, and unforgettable moments with friends. I fondly remember the times we got scolded by teachers, the fun we had during classes, and the excitement of school events. The friendships I made back then still hold a special place in my heart, and I often miss those carefree days spent learning, playing, and growing together.

How were the teachers?

The teachers were strict when it came to studies, ensuring we stayed focused and disciplined. However, beyond academics, they were extremely friendly and approachable. Their warm nature made learning enjoyable. They actively participated in student activities like games and school events, creating a supportive and engaging environment that helped strengthen the bond between students and teachers.

Any message for the school students?

My message to school students is to stay focused on your studies and work hard with dedication. Set clear goals and strive to achieve them with determination and sincerity. Remember, consistent effort and a positive attitude are key to success. Believe in yourself and never stop learning or growing.
