Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector-21 D, recently hosted its annual Artistic Impression competition, a much-awaited event that has become a vibrant platform for young learners to showcase their creativity, originality, and artistic expression.
Organised every year in loving memory of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul & the ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, the competition reflects her vision of nurturing artistic talent among children. She firmly believed that art inspires confidence, imagination, and self-expression, values that continue to guide and motivate generations of young learners.

A Colourful Display of Talent
This year’s edition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with nearly 200 students from 15 prestigious institutions coming together to display their talents. Each category was thoughtfully designed to encourage children to experiment with different mediums of art while highlighting creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
Nursery–KG: The youngest participants explored patterns and textures through tearing and pasting, a joyful activity that allowed them to experiment freely with colours.
Classes I–II: Students displayed their ingenuity by creating 3D objects using waste material, reinforcing the idea of recycling and eco-consciousness.
Classes III–V: With the theme Trash to Treasure, children transformed discarded items into meaningful artworks, blending creativity with environmental awareness.
Classes VI–VII: Budding painters expressed their imagination through canvas painting, producing striking visuals that reflected both skill and storytelling.
Classes VIII–X: The senior-most group collaborated on wall paintings, bringing large-scale ideas to life with powerful themes and vibrant strokes.

A Tribute to Artistic Spirit
The event began with a soulful invocation and cultural performances, setting a celebratory mood. The school campus was filled with colours, energy, and the joy of creation as students worked passionately on their artworks. The competition not only celebrated artistic excellence but also encouraged teamwork, innovation, and sensitivity towards nature.
Inspiring the Next Generation
The programme concluded with a felicitation ceremony where winners were honoured across categories. Teachers and judges lauded the participants for their creativity, confidence, and originality. The event stood as a true tribute to Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul’s legacy, fostering a culture where every child feels inspired to express themselves through the beauty of art.
