Additionally, the Apeejay student has completed two internships in the field of Marketing.
These qualities and achievements constantly drive Manan towards both professional and ethical growth, and hence, he has recently bagged the Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values. Let’s read edited excerpts of his interview in which he shares his journey of learning and excitement:
How did you feel when you learned you’d received the award?
I was really happy and a bit surprised too! Receiving the ‘Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values was a truly proud moment. It reinforced my belief that hard work, integrity, and compassion never go unnoticed. It motivates me to continuously contribute positively to my surroundings and to uphold the same values that this award represents.
What values or skills have you developed through this journey?
This journey has helped me grow in many ways. I have developed empathy, leadership, respect, teamwork, and communication skills, whether through NCC or student clubs. Most importantly, I’ve learned that true success is not just about achievements but about maintaining integrity, humility, and compassion throughout life.

What do you think is special about AIMETC? How do you focus on making the most of your time here?
What makes AIMETC truly special is its holistic learning environment. The institute doesn’t just focus on academic knowledge, it provides a platform for overall personality development. Initiatives like Mentorship Programs, Skill Enhancement Programs, Cross-Skilling Programs, Corporate Enhancement Programs, and the LEAP initiative (Learn, Evolve, Achieve, Prepare) really stand out. They help students gain clarity about their goals, improve soft and technical skills and prepare for real-world challenges.
I make the most of my time here by actively participating in these programs, engaging in student clubs, NCC and college events, and continuously learning from peers and faculty. Every opportunity here adds a new layer to my growth, both personally and professionally.
What role have the institute and faculty played in shaping your values?
AIMETC has played an important role in shaping both my professional outlook and personal values. The faculty here goes beyond academics, they act as true mentors who guide, motivate, and support us at every step. Through initiatives like the LEAP program and the mentorship system, I have learned not just management concepts but also the deeper importance of integrity, discipline, empathy, and teamwork.
Their constant encouragement to take part in leadership and community activities has helped me stay grounded and responsible. I genuinely feel that the institute has not only prepared me for my career but also taught me how to be a better person in society.

According to you, what is the most important human value everyone should possess?
According to me, the most important human value everyone should possess is respect, along with discipline. Respect helps us value others’ thoughts, time, and efforts, while discipline helps us stay consistent and committed to our goals.
When both values come together, they create a foundation for success and harmony, helping us grow as responsible individuals who contribute positively to society. These two qualities have guided me throughout my journey, both as a student and as a person.
Do you believe in learning something new every day? How do you implement that?
Yes, I strongly believe in learning something new every day because learning keeps us growing and adaptable. I make it a point to explore various online courses and certifications that help me enhance both my academic and personal skills. For instance, I’ve completed certifications in Accounting Fundamentals, Strategies in Digital Marketing, and Tally ERP 9, which have strengthened my practical knowledge.
Whatever I learn, I try to implement it in real life, whether it’s through internships, college projects or everyday tasks. For me, continuous learning is not just a habit but a way to evolve and stay prepared for future challenges, as learning is a never-ending process.
