Welcoming the new batch of students, Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently hosted its annual event – Apeejay Talentonia 2024. This dazzling event provided an exceptional platform for freshers to display their creativity, skills, and talents across various categories, including music, dance, drama, poetry, and fashion.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, expressed his pride and enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the institute’s commitment to uncovering and nurturing the unpolished talents of its students. He also extended his gratitude to Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, for her unwavering support and mentorship, which have been instrumental in the institute’s numerous accomplishments. To honour her contributions, a video showcasing her life and achievements was presented to the audience.
The event commenced with a serene and auspicious Ganesh Vandana, performed by Archita of BBA III, which set a positive and spiritual tone for the day. This was followed by the Solo Singing category, where participants captivated the audience with soulful and melodic performances. Gurshaan of BBA I was awarded the title of best singer for his exceptional vocal performance, while Rishab of MBA I secured the runners-up position with his melodious rendition.



In the poetry segment, Jashanpreet of BCA I stood out with a self-composed piece that deeply resonated with the audience, earning him the first prize. Gurdeep of BBA I added a humorous twist to the event with his witty poem on college life, securing the second position.
The dance performances were a highlight of the event, showcasing both solo and group talents. Jayant Verma of BTech I was crowned Best Dancer for his energetic and precise performance, while Yashica of BCA I impressed the audience with her captivating moves, emerging as one of the standout stars of the event.




A powerful theatrical performance by the students of MCA I focused on the pressing issue of crimes against women. Their poignant enactment deeply moved the audience, earning them a special prize for their impactful message.
The grand finale of the event was the much-anticipated Fashion Show, where students showcased their elegance, confidence, and individuality. In the boys’ category, Rohin of MBA I emerged victorious with his impeccable style and poise, while Divyanshu, also from MBA I, secured the second position. In the girls’ category, Yashica of BCA I secured the top spot with her graceful walk, while Sukhmanpreet Kaur of BCA I and Mehak of BTech I took the second and third places, respectively. The titles of Mr. Talentonia 2024 and Ms. Talentonia 2024 were awarded to Rohin of MBA I and Yashica of BCA I, respectively.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Rajesh Bagga congratulated all participants and prize winners, acknowledging their enthusiastic performances. He encouraged students to continue pursuing their passions with dedication, emphasising that such events provide ample opportunities for students to excel in their areas of interest. Dr. Bagga also congratulated the Cultural Committee, led by Convenor Mr. Daljeet Singh Matharu and Co-Convenor Ms. Rajinder Kaur, along with members Ms. Parmjit Kaur and Mr. Gurpreet Singh, for organising a remarkable event.


Apeejay Talentonia 2024 was a testament to the vibrant student community at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering, setting the stage for a year filled with creativity, growth, and unforgettable experiences.
