Apeejay Svran Global School added another feather to its cap as its students delivered a remarkable performance at the 12th Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Tennis Tournament, held at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. Competing against talented players from various schools, the young tennis enthusiasts showcased grit, discipline and a strong competitive spirit, winning accolades across multiple age categories.

A Standout Performance on the Court

Stealing the spotlight was Ranbir Pratap Dewan, who was declared the Best Player of the Tournament. His confident gameplay, sharp reflexes and calm composure under pressure reflected not just technical excellence, but also the mental strength that competitive sports nurture at a young age. His achievement stood as a powerful reminder of how consistent practice and focus can lead to outstanding results.

In the Class II categoryIshani Choubey delivered a stellar performance to clinch the 1st position, earning a Gold Medal. Her victory highlighted how early exposure to sports can build confidence, resilience and a winning mindset among students.

Adding to the medal tally, Maginthan Ranjit Kumar and Parth Kapoor (Class II), along with Rudra and Vrishank (Class III), demonstrated admirable teamwork and determination to secure the 3rd position, winning Bronze Medals. Their performance underlined the importance of collaboration, coordination and mutual encouragement in team sports.

Team Spirit Takes Centre Stage

In the Class IV–V category, the boys’ team comprising Ranbir Pratap Dewan, Angad Pratap Singh, Atharv Singh Bhadauria and Kavish Kumar showcased consistency and strategic play to secure an impressive 2nd position. The girls’ team, featuring Sachman Kaur, Sara Tanwar, Riana and Kaushiki Raj Kanaujia, also put up a commendable show, earning the 3rd position and bringing pride to the school.
