Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21 D, Faridabad, solemnly observed the Punyatithi of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul and the ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group. The event was marked by soulful musical renditions, floral tributes, and collective prayers by students, teachers, and staff. The quiet dignity of the ceremony reflected the depth of admiration and gratitude the school community holds for her.
Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, the revered mother of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, is remembered not only for her role as a devoted family figure but also as a visionary patron of arts and education. Her deep-rooted belief in nurturing creativity led to the establishment of institutions like Rajeshwari Kala Sangam and the Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, which continue to promote cultural enrichment and academic excellence.

Soulful tributes and floral offerings
The tribute ceremony began with teachers and students coming together in prayer. A beautifully decorated portrait of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, surrounded by marigolds and vibrant handmade flowers, formed the heart of the ceremony. A group of teachers and students led devotional bhajans creating an atmosphere of peace and reflection.
Message from the chairman
A heartfelt message from Madam Sushma Paul Berlia was read aloud, wherein she lovingly remembered her mother’s values of love, humility, generosity, and an abiding commitment to the arts. She urged the community to uphold these values and continue walking the path that Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji envisioned for future generations.

In remembering her, the school community collectively rededicated itself to the values she embodied. Her presence, though no longer physical, lives on through the culture of learning, creativity, and compassion that defines Apeejay institutions.
As the ceremony drew to a close, students sat in silent contemplation – learning, through example, what it means to lead a meaningful life.
