The Human Resource Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar organised a special event for World Water Day to spread awareness about the importance of water conservation and sustainable living. The initiative sought to sensitise students to the urgent need to protect water resources and adopt responsible practices for preserving this essential natural resource.
The programme was designed to encourage students to reflect on the significance of water in everyday life and understand the growing global challenges related to water scarcity. Through discussions and awareness activities, the event highlighted how responsible water usage and conservation efforts can contribute to environmental sustainability and the well-being of future generations.

Addressing the students on the occasion, Rajesh Bagga emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in protecting water resources. Highlighting the essence of the day, he remarked that water is fundamental to life and its conservation requires the active participation of every individual. He noted that initiatives such as these play a vital role in raising awareness and motivating people to adopt sustainable habits that can make a meaningful difference.
Dr. Bagga also stressed that awareness should lead to practical action. According to him, when individuals consciously use water wisely and responsibly, it contributes significantly to building a healthier environment and a sustainable future. He encouraged students to take the message of water conservation beyond the campus and act as ambassadors of change in their communities by promoting eco-friendly and responsible practices.

The Director appreciated the efforts of the Human Resource Club coordinators, Anuradha and Jahanvi, for successfully organising the event and motivating students to participate in meaningful environmental initiatives.
The institution reiterated its commitment to promoting environmental responsibility and sustainability through such awareness programmes. By engaging students in discussions and activities related to pressing environmental issues, the college aims to nurture socially responsible individuals who are conscious of their role in protecting natural resources.

The celebration of World Water Day served as an important reminder that conserving water is not merely an individual concern but a shared responsibility requiring collective action. The programme emphasised that sustainable practices adopted today will help ensure the availability of clean water for future generations.
The event concluded with a collective pledge taken by the students, who promised to conserve water, follow environmentally responsible habits, and encourage others to contribute to safeguarding this invaluable resource. The programme left participants with a renewed sense of responsibility toward protecting the environment and promoting sustainable living.
