The Finance Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, successfully hosted the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2025. This esteemed initiative, organised in collaboration with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), aimed at enhancing students’ financial literacy and empowering them to make informed financial decisions.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over thirty students across different schools, each demonstrating keen interest and awareness in financial concepts. Many participants showcased remarkable proficiency, with some achieving an outstanding score of 90% in the quiz. Their success underscored the increasing awareness and understanding of financial literacy among the youth, a crucial skill in today’s dynamic economic landscape.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Anu Sahi (Convenor) and Ms. Arushi Sidana (Coordinator), the event was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring that students gained valuable insights into various financial concepts. Addressing the participants, Dr. Sahi emphasized the importance of financial awareness in shaping responsible and well-informed individuals capable of making sound financial decisions. She highlighted that understanding financial management, investments, and economic trends is not just beneficial for personal growth but also essential for national development.
The quiz tested students on a wide range of financial topics, including banking fundamentals, investment strategies, stock markets, financial planning, and economic policies. Through this engaging and competitive platform, participants not only assessed their existing knowledge but also gained new perspectives on managing finances effectively.
Director of AIMETC, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, commended the Finance Club for its commendable efforts in organizing such an insightful event. He encouraged students to actively engage in similar initiatives to broaden their knowledge and enhance their analytical skills. Dr. Bagga also reiterated the institution’s commitment to fostering holistic development among students by providing them with opportunities to acquire practical knowledge beyond traditional classroom learning.

The event concluded on a high note, with the top performers being acknowledged for their exceptional performance. The Finance Club’s initiative was widely appreciated, reinforcing the importance of financial literacy as a crucial life skill. NFLQ 2025 not only provided a platform for students to test and enhance their financial knowledge but also inspired them to continue their journey towards becoming financially aware and responsible individuals.
