Apeejay students learn how to boost entrepreneurial growth

The Marketing Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised an expert talk on “Entrepreneurial Marketing and Sales: Launching and Growing Business”. The session provided students with a deep understanding of entrepreneurial growth, effective sales strategies, and the mindset required to succeed in today’s competitive business environment.

The resource person for the session was Mr. Charan Kamal, an entrepreneur, educator, a  motivator, life & livelihood coach, Super Success Life.  Mr. Charan Kamal, with his vast experience spanning over 21 years and a track record of contributing to businesses worth 5,000 crores, shared invaluable insights on marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship. His words resonated deeply with aspiring entrepreneurs, emphasising the importance of passion, vision, and resilience in the journey to success.

In his lecture Mr. Kamal said, “The foundation of success in entrepreneurship lies in a combination of key traits and mindset. It is essential to be a good listener and an inspiring leader, with a clear vision and realistic yet ambitious goals.” 

Further, he highlighted the significance of understanding market dynamics and adapting accordingly. “Finally, when it comes to marketing and sales strategies for new businesses, creating demand and effectively positioning products in the market is crucial. Building trust and strong customer relationships, leveraging storytelling in marketing, and understanding consumer behaviour to target the right audience are all essential components of a successful marketing and sales strategy,” he added. 

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and seeking advice from Mr. Kamal on various entrepreneurial challenges. His real-world examples and case studies provided a practical perspective on marketing and sales strategies, making the session both informative and inspiring.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Charan Kamal for his enlightening address.
