Apeejay students impress at the first-ever mini Shark Tank Competition

In an inspiring display of youthful innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, Apeejay School, Noida, hosted its first-ever Mini Shark Tank competition on February 3, 2024. The event, a highlight of the Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Club’s annual calendar, brought together young minds eager to dive into the world of business and pitch their groundbreaking ideas.

The school’s auditorium buzzed with anticipation as students from classes VI to IX prepared to present their business plans in front of a distinguished panel of judges. The event was graced by the presence of Mr Anshuman Khurana and Mr Rishi Agarwal, co-founders of DG Liger Consulting, who stepped into the roles of the Sharks for the day. Their journey from budding entrepreneurs to successful business leaders served as a beacon of inspiration for the students, who listened intently to the tales of perseverance and determination.

The competition saw a diverse array of presentations, with each participant demonstrating not only their understanding of business concepts but also their passion for innovation. The pitches covered a wide range of industries, reflecting the students’ creativity and their keen insights into market needs and trends.

Keshav Prakash Gupta, a class IX, emerged victorious, clinching the first prize with his exceptional business plan that stood out for its clarity, feasibility, and innovation. Hridya Priya and Mehak Khurana, from classes VI and VIII respectively, secured the second and third places, impressing the judges with their thoughtful analysis and practical approaches to their business ideas.

The Mini Shark Tank competition was more than a contest; it was a comprehensive learning experience for both participants and observers. It provided a unique opportunity for students to step into the shoes of entrepreneurs, think critically, and articulate their ideas with confidence.
