Apeejay students bring cheer to underprivileged children on Christmas

Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, celebrated Christmas this time in a special way. Called “Project Feliz Navidad”, the school invited children from Blessings NGO, Delhi, to celebrate the festival with Apeejayites at the Minerva Carnival held on the occasion.

The initiative was undertaken by the school’s Interact Club, which is dedicated to social work, sensitisation programmes, and discovering the power of service above self.

Project Feliz Navidad was initiated with the motive of invoking compassion and empathy in the students and giving young lesser privileged children an opportunity to experience and be a part of a grand fiesta.

At the event, the NGO children were offered tea and snacks. Apeejay Interactors spent time with them and also took them to the game stalls set up by different classes at the carnival. Some of them also enjoyed amusement rides like Micky Mouse Bouncy and Elephant Carousel.

The children were finally bid goodbye with colourful stationery supplies and a face tattoo as Christmas gifts.
