Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) proudly announces that Surabhi Shah, a student pursuing full-time programme in Management in Mass Communication (PGDM), has been honoured with the Certificate of Excellence in the “PR Aspirant of the Year” category at the prestigious SABRE Awards South Asia 2025, hosted by PRCAI (Public Relations Consultants Association of India) in collaboration with PRovoke Media.

Held at The Westin, Gurgaon, the SABRE Awards South Asia is one of the most respected platforms in the communications industry, celebrating Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement. The “PR Aspirant of the Year” category is dedicated to recognising exceptional emerging talent in public relations — young professionals and students who demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to address contemporary communication challenges. Surabhi’s recognition with the Certificate of Excellence places her among the most promising PR leaders of tomorrow.

Excellence in Communication and Strategy

Surabhi’s submission stood out for its depth of insight, originality, and alignment with global PR best practices. She showcased a strong understanding of strategic communication, brand storytelling, and ethical engagement, reflecting both the academic rigour and real-world application encouraged at AIMC.

Sharing her thoughts about this recognition, Surabhi said, “Being recognised at the SABRE Awards South Asia is both humbling and motivating. The PGDM programme at AIMC has equipped me with the skills, confidence, and exposure needed to approach public relations with purpose and creativity. This achievement is as much my institute’s as it is mine.”

A Milestone for AIMC

Proudly congratulating Surabhi for this achievement, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director of AIMC, “We are extremely proud of Surabhi’s accomplishment. This recognition from PRCAI and PRovoke Media reflects the calibre of talent AIMC nurtures through its PGDM programme — graduates who are industry-ready, strategically agile, and ethically grounded.”

Surabhi Shah’s achievement is a proud moment for AIMC and an inspiration for her peers. It reflects the institute’s mission to bridge the gap between academia and industry, producing graduates who are not only skilled communicators but also strategic thinkers with a global perspective.
