Apeejay School, Tanda Road, celebrated a moment of immense pride as its young and talented students delivered stellar performances at the 12th National Singing, Instrumental, Painting, Modelling and Dance Sports Championship 2025–26, bringing laurels to the school on a national platform. Competing with participants from several states across India, the students showcased exceptional skill, confidence, and artistic excellence, especially in the dance categories.
The championship witnessed participation from Punjab, Jammu, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, and West Bengal, making the competition both diverse and highly competitive. Despite this, the students of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, stood out with their remarkable performances and impressive results.
The event was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, including Pooja Narula (Ludhiana), Khushi Batra (Jalandhar), Kuldeep Singh (Moga) for Semi-Classical Dance; Goldy Randhawa (Canada), Tarlochan Singh (Ludhiana), and Bimlesh Gupta (Ludhiana) for Folk Dance; and Raj Arora, Sukhdarshan Singh, Param Singh, and Piyush Jain for Indian Bollywood Dance.

The championship was graced by distinguished dignitaries, like Mr S Balwinder Singh Johal, President, Dance Sports Council of India and Governor Awardee; Tarun Pal Singh, World Record Holder and India’s Technical Secretary, Dance Sports Council of India; Pankaj Chadha, President, Sodal Mandir, along with noted personalities Raj Arora and Harry Singh.
In the Indian Bollywood Dance (eight–10 years) category, Shivanya Dubey (Class III) secured the second position, displaying grace and vibrant expressions. The Folk Dance (eight –10 years) category saw Samriddhi Sharma (Class IV) secure the first position, while Daanya of Class V earned the third position in the Folk Dance (10–13 years) category.


The semi-classical dance category witnessed outstanding performances across age groups. Bhavin Gupta of Class I achieved the second position in the six–eight years category, Haridya Sharma of Class II secured the first position in the eight-10 years category, and Yuvika of Class VII earned the second position in the 10–13 years category. Adding to the school’s success, the group dance (Under-14 years) team clinched the first position, winning accolades for their coordination, creativity, and stage presence.
These achievements are a true reflection of the students’ dedication, disciplined practice, and passion for dance, complemented by the unwavering guidance of teachers and the constant support of parents. Apeejay School, Tanda Road, proudly applauds its young achievers for this remarkable national success.
