Apeejay School, Tanda Road, hosted its Annual Appreciation Day 2025–26 with grandeur and grace, celebrating the theme ‘Taal – Harmonizing Knowledge and Skill’. The event beautifully highlighted how education goes beyond books, nurturing students’ talents, confidence, and life skills in perfect rhythm.
The distinguished Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Nirmal Mahajan, Member, Board of Governors, Apeejay Education, whose presence added immense pride to the celebration. The school campus gleamed with excitement as students, teachers, and parents gathered to witness a vibrant showcase of learning, culture, and creativity.

The programme began on an auspicious note with the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising the school’s commitment to knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by Guru Vandana – Rhythm of Reverence, a soulful presentation by students expressing gratitude to mentors who guide them every step of the way.
Celebrating Holistic Progress
In his Annual Symphony, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel shared the school’s remarkable academic triumphs, co-curricular achievements, sports accolades, and the many initiatives undertaken to ensure students’ all-round growth. He emphasised how the institution constantly harmonises modern learning methods with value-based education.
One of the key moments of the event was the Applause of Achievement, where young achievers were honoured for excellence in varied fields. Recognizing achievement at a young age plays a crucial role in building confidence, motivating students to pursue goals with greater enthusiasm.

Performances Full of Talent and Learning
The cultural segment reflected the very essence of ‘Taal’ — rhythm, coordination and collaboration. Each performance showcased teamwork, discipline, and cultural understanding:
Yoga Dance: Soul in Sync – Demonstrating mindfulness and physical harmony
Little Feet, Big Joy – Nursery and Pre-Nursery children spreading innocence and delight through rhythmic movement
Twirl of Colours – A visual celebration of creativity
Groove Galaxy – Students displaying agility and modern dance skills
Echoes of the Wild – Highlighting nature conservation through expressive movements
Harvest Harmony (Assam) – A colourful tribute to India’s agricultural traditions
Desert Whirls – Depicting the spirit and vibrancy of Rajasthan
Each presentation connected learning with life, showing how performing arts help students strengthen communication skills, stage confidence, cultural appreciation, and emotional expression.

A Grand Finale of Pride and Heritage
The event reached a powerful culmination with Rhythm of Punjab, where energetic dhol beats and lively bhangra steps filled every heart with joy. Students radiated cultural pride while celebrating Punjab’s rich folk traditions — a lesson in belongingness and unity.
Impressed by the exceptional display of skill and values, Chief Guest Mr. Mahajan praised the school’s vision. He encouraged students to continue embracing curiosity, discipline, and creativity for a bright future.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by In-Charge Ms. Simranjit Kaur, followed by the National Anthem – One Heart, One Rhythm, echoing patriotism and collective pride.
