The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Saket, recently organised a heart-warming visit to the Mother Teresa Jeevan Jyoti Home in Jangpura, as part of its community outreach initiatives. The visit aimed to spread happiness, care, and a sense of togetherness among the children residing there.
Songs, Games, and Fun Activities
During the visit, students engaged the children with lively conversations, music, and interactive games. Singing favourite tunes, sharing stories, and participating in fun activities helped create an atmosphere filled with warmth and laughter, making each child feel valued and included.

DOPOE Drive: Small Acts, Big Impact
In addition to spending time with the children, the Interactors brought along food items collected through the school’s “DOPOE” (Donate One Potato, One Onion Each) initiative. With enthusiastic participation from students across all classes, the donations were personally handed over, making the gesture even more heartfelt.

The visit was a rewarding experience for both the children and the students. While the children enjoyed moments of joy, the Interactors gained a deeper understanding of empathy, gratitude, and the importance of giving back to society. Small acts of kindness, they realised, can leave a lasting impression.
Through initiatives like these, the Interact Club continues to instill social awareness and responsibility in students. By blending service with learning, the club not only supports the community but also shapes students into empathetic and responsible citizens.
