Apeejay School, Saket hosts a joyful day of experiential learning for young learners

It was a truly amazing day for young learners at Apeejay School, Saket, as the campus turned into a vibrant hub of joy, laughter and experiential learning. Designed especially for the little ones, the fun-filled event showcased how education extends beyond classrooms — into exploration, creativity and collaborative play.

As students walked in with their parents and mentors, they were welcomed into a colourful world of exciting learning booths and interactive games. Each activity was thoughtfully planned to sharpen life skills, promote social interaction, and ignite curiosity.

Learning Through Play: The Apeejay Way

From the very first moment, the energy was infectious. Children rolled up their sleeves, eager to try new things. Whether it was hands-on creative tasks or friendly competitions, every experience had an educational angle. Teachers guided the students lovingly, helping them build confidence as they attempted activities independently.

Many tiny tots took pride in participating in simple science-based water activities, trying to navigate their origami boats — learning the basic principles of motion, water flow, and trial-and-error. Their excited cheers reflected how much they enjoyed discovering how things work!

Another corner saw artistic minds at work — carefully decorating vibrant plates and food models, helping them improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills while expressing their imagination. These tasks reinforced one of the core principles of early education: learning happens best when children create.

Teamwork, Curiosity & Confidence Blossom

Children worked alongside peers, encouraged by parents who stood smiling, proudly capturing memories. The event fostered teamwork and communication, as students helped one another through challenges. Even something as simple as making paper crafts or loading blocks in a toy truck taught problem-solving and decision-making in a playful manner.

The warmth and guidance of teachers further added to the comfort and confidence of young participants — ensuring that even first-timers opened up and enjoyed freely.

Parents as Learning Partners

A special highlight of the day was the active involvement of parents who enthusiastically joined their children in various activities. This collaboration strengthened the home-school bond, reminding families that early learning thrives through shared experiences.

Smiles, cheers and the sparkle in every child’s eye truly reflected the success of the day — a beautiful blend of fun and foundational education.
