Apeejay School, Saket observed the 101st birth anniversary of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul & the ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group. The occasion was marked with the grand Rajeshwari Kala Utsav – an event that paid heartfelt homage to a woman who embodied grace, strength, and values that continue to inspire generations within the Apeejay family.
The beautifully curated event was not just a tribute to her life but also a celebration of culture, spirituality, and creativity – principles that she firmly stood for.
A solemn start:
The programme began with a solemn and graceful floral tribute, where students, teachers, and staff members gathered to offer flowers and light incense before her garlanded portrait. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, silence, and respect.
Principal Dr Sujeet Eric Masih addressed the audience with deep reverence. In his moving speech, he reflected on her enduring values. “Humbly and fondly remembered, her values live and blossom in Apeejay,” he said, reinforcing her spiritual and cultural presence in the school’s ethos. His words were a reminder that while she may no longer be physically present, her principles continue to guide the school’s journey.

A group of students presented a series of soulful bhajans. Dressed in coordinated white and blue, the student choir rendered devotional songs that created a serene, almost meditative ambience in the school auditorium. The bhajans not only showcased the students’ musical talents but also conveyed a spiritual message in line with the values cherished by Rajeshwari Paul Ji.
Art meets Devotion
The highlight of the celebration was the classical dance performance. Draped in elegant attire, the dancers brought to life the beauty of Indian culture and mythology through expressive gestures and graceful movements.

The Rajeshwari Kala Utsav stood as a reflection of what Apeejay truly represents – a harmonious blend of tradition, modernity, and spiritual grounding. It offered students a platform not just to showcase their talents, but also to internalise and honour the cultural legacy left behind by Rajeshwari Paul Ji.
More than an event, it was a moment of connection – between generations, between values and education, between heart and heritage.
