Known for his profound contributions to number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, Ramanujan’s brilliance emerged despite limited formal training.

Observed annually, this significant day honors Ramanujan’s extraordinary contributions to mathematics while underscoring its profound relevance in daily life.

This year’s thought-provoking theme, “Mathematics: The Bridge to Innovation and Progress,” vividly highlighted how mathematical principles serve as the bedrock for groundbreaking advancements in science, technology, and innovation. The school’s vibrant celebrations brought this theme to life through a variety of dynamic and hands-on activities designed to make mathematics exciting and relatable for students from Classes 2 to 9 and 11.
