Apeejay School, Saket recently took a heartwarming step towards social service by organising a Blood Donation Camp within its campus. The event was a collaborative effort between the school’s Interact Club and the Rotary Club of Delhi Premier. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the school community.
Medical experts and volunteers ensure a smooth process
With the aim of promoting the spirit of giving and humanitarian service, the camp saw the presence of a medical team from the Rotary Blood Bank, including a certified doctor and a nurse. They meticulously supervised the donation process, ensuring all safety and hygiene protocols were followed.
What truly stood out was the overwhelming support from parents, guardians, and school staff who came forward voluntarily to donate blood. Their selfless contribution highlighted the strong bond between the school and its extended community.
Adding to the smooth execution of the event were the student volunteers from the school’s Interact Club. These young changemakers not only assisted in organising the camp but also took care of the donors post-donation. From guiding them through the process to offering them refreshments and certificates, the students ensured a warm and encouraging environment throughout the event.

Appreciation and encouragement from parents
The initiative drew heartfelt appreciation from parents, who lauded the school’s efforts in instilling social responsibility among students. The school, through this noble initiative, once again underscored its commitment to values such as compassion, service, and community welfare.
Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, Principal, Apeejay School, Saket, shared his thoughts on the occasion, stating, “A noble takeup in fact. At the right time in the right direction. Thanks to all the donors and Interact Club.”
The event not only helped contribute to a life-saving cause but also became a platform for students to engage in purposeful action.
