Apeejay School, Rama Mandi honours Founder’s legacy with heartfelt tributes and reflections

Every great institution stands on the foundation of a visionary’s dream. At Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, that dream was brought alive during the Founder’s Day celebration, held with deep devotion and gratitude. The event honoured Dr Stya Paul, Late Founder Chairman , Apeejay Stya Group & Apeejay Education whose life continues to inspire generations to pursue excellence with humility and purpose. Guided by the blessings of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, and under the valuable direction of Dr Neha Berlia, Co-Family Business Owner and Core Board Member of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, the school united in spirit to celebrate the timeless ideals of its founder.

A day of remembrance and reflection

The ceremony commenced with a respectful Shradhanjali offered by the Principal, Vice-Principal, parents, staff members, and the Prefectorial Board. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as the school choir rendered Dr. Stya Paul’s favourite bhajans, setting a serene tone for the celebration. A video presentation showcasing his remarkable life journey and contributions moved the audience, reminding all of the timeless values that form the foundation of Apeejay Education’s philosophy.

Embracing the Founder’s ideals

In his address, Principal Mr. A. K. Sharma reflected on the enduring philosophy of the founder chairman sir, emphasising the importance of education rooted in human values, self-belief, and service to society. He also read out the inspiring message of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, which encouraged students to uphold the ideals of integrity, excellence, and compassion in every sphere of life.

The day’s theme, “Soaring High is My Nature,” was beautifully expressed through thought-provoking reflections, motivational talks, soulful poems, and a graceful dance performance by students. Each presentation echoed the essence of lifelong learning and personal growth – principles that lie at the heart of Apeejay’s educational mission.

Honouring human values

A highlight of the event was the announcement of the prestigious Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values, which recognises students who embody the Founder Chairman’s vision through their conduct, empathy, and dedication. This year’s proud recipients were Yadunandan Vatts (Class VIII), Sameer Sagar (Class X), and Navjot Singh Aujla (Class XII – Science).

The presence of their parents added warmth to the occasion, as they shared heartfelt reflections on the influence of Apeejay’s value-based education in shaping their children’s character and confidence.

Carrying the light forward

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Vice-Principal Ms. Loveleen Bagga, who expressed deep gratitude to all contributors and reaffirmed the school’s collective resolve to carry forward Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s vision.
