Apeejay School, Pitampura students excel in Taekwondo Belt Grading Test
With over 100 young martial artists advancing to higher belts, the school continues its proud tradition of sporting excellence and discipline.
Apeejay School, Pitampura, renowned for its strong sporting legacy, continues to stand tall as a cradle of young athletic talent. Over the years, the school has nurtured countless champions across multiple disciplines, with Taekwondo remaining one of its crowning glories. This academic year, its athletes have once again brought laurels at state and national levels, reaffirming the school’s status as a true powerhouse of sporting excellence.
Recently, the school hosted a Taekwondo Belt Grading Test under the expert supervision of an examiner from the Delhi Taekwondo Association. The event celebrated not just technique and form, but also the values the sport upholds—discipline, focus, and perseverance.
Out of 107 participants, every single student qualified, showcasing an unwavering commitment to their craft. Among them, 85 students earned yellow belts, eight achieved green belts, another eight advanced to green one belts, four attained blue belts, and two proudly received blue one belts. The results reflected a collective spirit of determination, teamwork, and passion.
The school’s Taekwondo coach, Mr. Sudhir Ranjan—a six-time black belt champion and international referee—expressed immense pride in his students. “Taekwondo is a complete exercise in self-discipline,” he said. “It strengthens the body, sharpens the mind, and builds unshakable confidence. I’m delighted to see our students embrace the sport with such dedication and spirit.”
Sharing her experience, Shanaya Gupta, a class 6 student and proud blue belt holder, said, “Taekwondo makes me feel strong, confident, and happy. Every time I wear my uniform, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. With my school’s support, I’ve learned to balance academics and sports.” Her goal, she added, is “to keep improving, earn the brown belt, and represent the nation someday.”
With each belt earned, the students of Apeejay School, Pitampura, rise higher—not just in rank, but in confidence, resilience, and inner strength. Their collective achievement stands as a shining reflection of the school’s enduring mission: to nurture young individuals who excel both on the field and beyond it.
