Students of Apeejay School, Pitampura participated in Spell Bee International in the academic year 2019-2020.
The educational research organisation which conducts spelling events across countries, is recognised for conducting spelling contests over difficulty levels.
The students of Apeejay School, Pitampura had qualified for the Regional/State-level competitions in the month of November 2019. They further aced the competition, making it to the International Level in March 2020.
The school won the ‘Outstanding School Award for Promoting Excellence’ and Principal, Mrs. Veena Goel received the ‘Leadership in Academic Excellence Award’ by Spell International.
She believes that successful leadership is about motivating others rather than to exhibit authority. According to Goel, the school does not believe in resting on its past laurels, and works consistently towards self-betterment.
