School assemblies play a crucial role in the holistic development of students, providing them with opportunities to learn and grow beyond the classroom. These gatherings not only foster a sense of community but also impart important life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and public speaking. Assemblies serve as platforms for students to showcase their talents, share ideas, and inspire their peers.
At Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park assemblies provide a platform to each and every student. The school recently had an assembly organised by class XII B on the theme “Sewa Paramo Dharma – service to society is the greatest religion”. This in turn exemplified the significance of these gatherings in nurturing students’ skills and values. Through poetry recitations and motivational talks, students delved into the topic of community service, advocating for the importance of serving humanity in diverse capacities.
The assembly began with a captivating poetry recitation titled “Manav Seva Parmo Dharma”, where students eloquently expressed the essence of selfless service. This segment not only showcased their linguistic skills but also conveyed a powerful message about the value of giving back to society. Following this, a motivating talk emphasised the importance of community service and encouraged students to actively engage in initiatives that benefit others.
The culmination of the assembly saw all students pledging to dedicate themselves to serving humanity, reflecting their commitment to making a positive impact on the world around them. Additionally, the assembly recognised and celebrated academic excellence by presenting awards and certificates to winners of various competitions, including International Maths Olympiad, National Science Olympiad and International English Olympiad. This acknowledgment underscored the students’ multifaceted contributions to the school’s academic achievements, highlighting their dedication and hard work.
Through such assemblies, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, continues to instill important values and skills in its students, preparing them to become compassionate and responsible citizens.
