Students from Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park recently participated in the Annual interschool competition, Vibhuti 2024, held at Apeejay School, Pitampura. This exciting event aimed to showcase the talent and creativity of students from various schools, encouraging teamwork and artistic expression. The competition featured a variety of performances, including dance, drama, music, and art.
The event included several categories: Nitryam (Dance), Nautanki (Drama), Geetam and Vadyam (Music), and Kalakrityam (Jr. and Sr. Art). Each category allowed students to exhibit their skills and passion for the arts. The atmosphere was electric, filled with enthusiasm and support from students, teachers, and parents alike.
Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, particularly excelled in the Geetam category, which saw 15 entries from different schools. The students sang patriotic songs, showcasing their vocal talents and dedication. Their hard work paid off as they proudly secured the Second Prize in this competitive category. Congratulations are in order for the talented students who represented their school: Shivansh Saraf (VA), Ivaan Dixit (VA), Rabhya Gupta (VC), Saanvi Halder (VC), Sartaj Sharma (VIA), and Anishka Kumar (VIA). Their commitment to excellence and collaboration was evident throughout the competition, reflecting the supportive and nurturing environment at Apeejay School.
Ms. Rekha Srivastava, a music teacher at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park shared her thoughts on the competition, stating, “Vibhuti 2024 is held every year in memory of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul. The ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group. It is a unique competition that aims to recognise and award talent from the entire gamut of performing arts.” She emphasised the importance of organising the event on a grander scale to involve more schools, ensuring that “students who participate in the event Geetam are greatly enriched and gain new skills from their fellow teams.”
The success at Vibhuti 2024 not only highlights the students’ talents but also emphasises the importance of participating in such events for personal growth and development. Competitions like these inspire students to pursue their passions, work together, and celebrate each other’s achievements.
