Apeejay School of Management signed an MoU with the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) to enhance the employability and skills of PGDM students. This partnership bridges the gap between academic learning and industry needs by equipping students with essential knowledge and practical skills in financial markets, a key area in today’s job market.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Rahul Singh, Director of Apeejay School of Management, and Mr. Sanjeev Bajaj, General Manager of Partnerships and Marketing at NISM. This collaboration marks a key milestone for Apeejay in offering quality education aligned with global economic needs and preparing students for future success.

As part of the agreement, NISM will provide specialised training, workshops, and certification programs focusing on securities markets, mutual funds, investment strategies, and risk management. This will improve students’ understanding of financial instruments and increase their employability in the finance and investment sectors. The collaboration will offer experiential learning through NISM’s resources, industry expert engagement, and real-world simulations.

Employers seek candidates with strong financial market knowledge and technical skills in the current economy. The hands-on training from this MoU will give students an advantage, making them industry-ready and well-prepared to meet financial sector demands. The partnership allows PGDM students to earn certifications valued by recruiters, enhancing their prospects in financial institutions and investment firms.

Sharing her thoughts on this achievement, Dr Ishita Adhikari, Expert Faculty at ASM, “The MoU between Apeejay School of Management and the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) will enhance opportunities for students by providing industry-relevant knowledge, boosting employability, and offering expertise in the latest financial certifications. Further, this   collaboration will equip students with practical skills, making them more competitive in the finance sector.”
