
Four talented students from Apeejay School, Noida made their mark at the Wartex 10.0 competition held at SRDAV, Dayanand Vihar. Competing against top talent, these young achievers showcased their skills in events like Brain Wars and Prompt Engineering, securing impressive third positions in both categories. Here’s a look at their experiences, insights, and aspirations, as they shared in a conversation.
Atharva Gupta and Abhigyan Chaturvedi – Brain Wars (3rd Place)
Atharva Gupta, a Class 12 student and tech enthusiast, found the Brain Wars quiz exhilarating. “Brain Wars challenged our knowledge with a variety of tech-related questions, from MCQs to visual questions,” Atharva shared. He prepared by staying updated on tech current affairs, studying the founding of major companies, and reading about recent advancements. “Apeejay School Noida has been instrumental in my journey, especially through CODE, our tech club, where I am an event head. The experience helped me guide my teammate, Abhigyan, who’s in Class 10,” the achiever mentioned. Atharva, who dreams of becoming a motorsport engineer, credits his success to constant learning. His advice for aspiring quizzers, “Embrace every learning opportunity and make the internet your best resource.”
Abhigyan Chaturvedi, the younger member of the Brain Wars team, thoroughly enjoyed the competition, which he described as both intense and rewarding. “The questions in Brain Wars covered pop culture, gaming, and tech history,” he said, appreciating the chance to think critically in a competitive setting. “Our school and teachers were very supportive throughout,” he added. For Abhigyan, the event strengthened his resolve to build on his tech knowledge and develop further skills.
Vipul Mittal and Rishabh Gurnani – Prompt Engineering (3rd Place)
In the Prompt Engineering competition, Class 12 student Vipul Mittal and Class 10 student Rishabh Gurnani made their mark by designing an AI-integrated application with natural language processing capabilities. “Our project required creating an interactive AI system, which we developed with guidance from our teachers and study materials,” Vipul explained. The team built a website where users could converse with their AI, showcasing their understanding of machine learning. “Our teachers’ support, especially in AI and pitching techniques, boosted our confidence and made this project possible.”
Rishabh Gurnani, who discovered Prompt Engineering a year ago, described his journey as a blend of curiosity and dedication. “It started with experimenting with chatbots, and soon, I was diving into prompt crafting,” he explained. The interschool competition gave him a platform to test his skills and collaborate with Vipul. “The challenge of communicating effectively with AI fascinated me, and Wartex 10.0 pushed me to think on my feet.” With future aspirations in tech, Rishabh plans to expand his skills in AI and make meaningful contributions to the field.
