Apeejay School, Noida recently hosted an exciting quiz competition for students of Classes VI and VIII, focusing on the traditional flora from India, Sri Lanka, Italy, and Thailand. The event aimed to promote awareness about the therapeutic benefits, cultural significance, and geographical distribution of medicinal plants, offering students a unique opportunity to delve into the world of natural remedies.

The competition unfolded in three rounds: Scientific Names, Visual Identification, and Riddle-Solving, engaging the students in both fun and educational ways. Six teams participated in the quiz, with each team consisting of one student from Class VI and one from Class VIII. In the end, it was Team A that claimed the first position, followed closely by Team F in second place and Team D in third. The competition was so close that a tie-breaker round was necessary to determine the winners, adding an extra level of excitement to the event. The tie-breaker round tested the students’ quick thinking and ability to recall information under pressure, highlighting the importance of both knowledge and composure in such events.
After the quiz, the students were shown an informative video.
