Mr Puneet Singh Hazooria is the parent of Asees Hazooria, a class 1 student at Apeejay School, Model Town. Asees loves painting and is enjoying her time at the school with her teachers and friends. In a quick chat, the parent tells us about Asees’s journey into holistic education and how the teachers ensure the child’s well being in all aspects. Read edited excerpts:
How has Asees been progressing at the school?
Very good! I am quite happy with her progress to be honest. I see a lot of improvement in her and I must say the school is doing a great job.
What are her favourite subjects?
English and Environmental Science are the ones she loves the most and is most happy to study. Though she likes all the subjects and is quite good in all of them.
And what are her hobbies in school?
Music and painting! Asees just loves to paint. Art is her passion and she devotes a lot of time behind it.
That’s great! Hope the teachers are guiding her well?
I am very satisfied with the teachers. They always ensure that the child has their concepts clear. They also ensure that every child feels confident in the class. The teachers even solve any quarrels between the kids and we as parents don’t need to counsel the kids anymore. All is well taken care of .
Any new initiatives by the school?
Sports activities have been a big hit. All the students are made to actively participate in sports. All kids are also made to take part in co-curricular activities be it annual day or any other event. Asees too did the anchoring for the school assembly recently.
What’s your feedback as a parent?
I am quite satisfied with the school. My elder daughter Ajoonee is also studying here. She is in class 8 and is doing very well. So, I see a lot of improvement in the performance of both my children.
