The JEE Mains is often considered a battle for science students—acfterall this is one of the toughest exams in India. This year, the school has witnessed remarkable success with two of its students, Riya Vasudev and Aditya Khullar, both clearing the JEE Mains Session 1 with impressive percentiles.
Riya Vasudev’s Triumph
Riya Vasudev scored an outstanding 97.8 percentile in JEE Mains, a testament to her hard work and perseverance. Reflecting on her success, Riya credits her teachers and the school for their continuous support. She says, “All my school teachers have always been supportive and motivating throughout the journey. Principal Sangeeta ma’am and my class teacher Vasu ma’am were very cooperative, adjusting the schedule to reduce unnecessary academic pressure.”
Although her primary focus was preparing for the NEET exam, Riya took the JEE Mains as a way to gauge her preparation level. “I studied for about 6+ hours every day, revising theory frequently and practicing questions daily,” she explains. One of Riya’s main strengths was her ability to turn weaknesses into strengths. She shared, “I focused most on Physics, as I think it requires the most practice and understanding.”
For Riya, consistency and understanding are key to success. “Be consistent and stick with the basics always. Focus on concept building. Prioritize weaker topics. Never limit yourself and give your best,” she advises.
Aditya Khullar’s Path to Success
Aditya Khullar, with an impressive 97.3 percentile, also owes much of his success to self-discipline and the support of his school. Aditya dedicated 4 to 5 hours a day to self-study after school, focusing particularly on Mathematics, his strength. “I love Mathematics, so my focus was more on it,” he says.
Aditya is also grateful for the guidance he received from his school. “The school helped me a lot with cooperation in the field I wanted to focus on,” he mentions.
As for his advice to others preparing for JEE, Aditya emphasizes the importance of self-belief. “Just believe in yourself and be positive. I am now focusing on the board exams and will think about JEE Advance exams later.”
