In a heartwarming initiative towards community welfare, Apeejay School, Faridabad organised a Blood Donation Camp on its campus with the noble objective of encouraging voluntary blood donation and promoting awareness about its life-saving significance. The event witnessed the wholehearted participation of staff members, dedicated parents, and spirited volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to the well-being of society.

Medical expertise and safe practices ensured

Organised in collaboration with a reputed local blood bank, the camp was conducted under the expert supervision of trained doctors and paramedics. The medical team ensured that the camp adhered to stringent safety measures and hygiene protocols, creating a secure and comfortable environment for all donors.

During the camp, a total of 33 units of blood were generously donated. Donors were provided with refreshments and certificates of appreciation as a gesture of gratitude for their selfless contribution. The effort was widely appreciated by the school principal, who lauded the enthusiasm and cooperation of the donors as well as the entire organising team for making the event a resounding success.

Raising awareness and inspiring compassion

More than just a health initiative, the blood donation camp served as a meaningful learning experience for students and parents alike. It helped raise awareness about the critical need for regular blood donations, especially in emergency situations and for patients suffering from chronic illnesses.

The school has consistently championed social causes, and this camp was another shining example of its enduring commitment to community service. With a strong belief in giving back to society, Apeejay School continues to foster a culture of kindness, awareness, and active contribution among its stakeholders
