Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, hosts a vibrant Annual Sports Day 2025

Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with remarkable zeal and vibrancy. The bright morning set the perfect stage as students, teachers, and parents assembled to witness a spectacular celebration of athletic excellence, teamwork, and school spirit.

The event was graced by distinguished guests whose presence elevated the occasion. The school was honoured to welcome Ch. Kultaj Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, M.D. University, Rohtak, as the Chief Guest. Dr Tejpal Singh, Assistant Director of Physical Education, joined as the Guest of Honour. Special guests, Mr Manjeet Gahlawat, Captain, Merchant Navy, and Mr Rahul Gahlawat, Chief Army Officer in the Merchant Navy.  

Principal of the school, Dr. Vineet Vasishtha, warmly welcomed all dignitaries and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their continued support in promoting sports and holistic development among students.

The programme opened with an impressive March Past, where students displayed discipline, synchronisation, and pride. This was followed by Mass PT, energetic dumbbell exercises, aerobics, and a serene presentation of Surya Namaskar, collectively showcasing agility, coordination, and strength.  

The excitement grew as athletic events commenced. Students participated in sprint races, relays, and other competitions, displaying determination, resilience, and true sportsmanship. The announcement of the Best Athletes added to the day’s thrill:

• Junior Section: Ananya & Garv (Class V)
  
• Middle Section: Rudraksh (VIII) & Navasha (VII)
  
• Senior Section: Deepanshu & Vanshu (XI)
  

In the inter-house competitions, Nanak House emerged as the overall champion.

The day concluded with words of appreciation from guests and teachers. Refreshments were served to all, bringing smiles after a spirited day on the field. The celebration successfully reinforced the value of physical fitness, discipline, and healthy competition in a student’s life.
