Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri celebrates Teej with zeal and joyfulness

Students from classes 1 to 12 come together for kite flying and henna designing.

Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri celebrated Teej, a festival that marks the onset of monsoon, marital bliss, and family well-being, with great enthusiasm. This vibrant event involved students from classes 1 to 12, and was marked by a series of engaging activities that brought the entire school community together.

The celebration began with the traditional kite flying activity, where students filled the sky with colourful kites, symbolising freedom and joy. Simultaneously, the girls participated in a henna designing competition, showcasing their artistic skills. The competition, open to students from classes 4 to 12, allowed them to demonstrate their creativity while adhering to the festive spirit.

From Class 4, Priyada emerged as the winner, with Janya in second place, and Takshi and Yashmita sharing third. Class 5 saw Mishthi and Navisha securing the top positions, with Netika coming in second and Gargi and Tamanna sharing third. In Class 6, Bhavika took first place, followed by Vanya and Naitri in second, and Bhoomi, Barkha, and Latika sharing third. Class 7 had Pallvi in first place, Manvi in second, and Kavya Arya in third. In Class 8, Simran won first place, Shreya was second, and Himakshi was third.

The senior classes displayed exceptional talent as well. In Classes XI and XII, Kirti Goyal and Kirti Malyan secured first place, Tamanna was second, and Kanika and Bhumi shared third. In Classes IX and X, Kashish and Yamini achieved first place, Neha was second, and Aastha was third.

Dr. Vineet Vasishtha, the principal of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, extended his heartfelt greetings to all participants. He praised the students for their enthusiasm and involvement, which significantly contributed to the success of the event. The younger students enjoyed the swings, while everyone danced to a mix of traditional and contemporary music, making the Teej celebration a memorable occasion.
