Mrs. Aarti Vij is a homemaker. Her husband Mr. Sachin Vij is a proprietor at Solitaire Fashion Accessories. They are proud parents of Apeejay Saket, class 5 student, Asmi Vij. In an interview, Mrs Aarti Vij shares her reasons for choosing the school, her daughter’s progress and her perception about the online classes. Edited Excerpts:
Why did you choose Apeejay Saket over other schools for your child’s admission?
Actually my elder child had an amazing experience in the school. So, keeping in mind his growth, we wanted to have the same experience for Asmi as well. I like the school’s infrastructure. It has a very big ground and smart digital classrooms for the students. There are plenty of extracurricular activities. The school is in proximity from my home, so that is another reason. The school also has a high teacher to student ratio.
Please tell us about your child and take us through her progress at school?
My child is definitely an extrovert. She is very expressive as a person and she also has a high level of self-confidence. She is doing very well at school. She is progressing with each passing day. Her favourite subjects at school are Science and English. Among her hobbies and the activities she likes are Art and Dance.
Are the teachers engaging well with the students?
I genuinely feel and have seen that the teachers truly care about students. They are all very approachable. The teachers are truly making a huge impact on my child’s growth. Asmi wouldn’t be where she is right now without the guidance, support, correcting hand and encouragement of her teachers.
What is the best thing about the school?
The best thing about the school is that I think I have never ever heard any bad review about the school from anyone. Also the school authorities keep the guardian updated timely and precisely about the progress of their child.
What is your perception about the online classes?
Well, I did not find the concept of online classes very convincing initially. However, the way it has been conducted and executed by the teachers is remarkable and very satisfying. So, it has surely benefitted the students.
