Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld in Model Town, Jalandhar, recently hosted a special event called ‘Vidya Aagam’ for nursery and pre-nursery kids. The event aimed to introduce children to alphabets and the joy of learning. The event commenced with an auspicious lighting of the traditional lamp ceremony, setting the tone for the event.

Kids eagerly participated. Their faces were lit up with excitement as they wrote ‘Om’ and ‘Ek Onkar’ on grains under the guidance of their parents. Following this initial activity, there were heartwarming garland and ’tilak’ ceremonies, symbolising the community’s celebration of the children’s budding involvement in the world of education.

The event was made even more special with captivating student performances. From the melodious strains of the Saraswati Vandana to the rhythmic beats of the Ganesh Vandana, each performance showcased the talent and spirit of the young learners. Particularly noteworthy was Jahanvi, a spirited student from class LKG, who delivered a mesmerising rendition of the Ganesh Vandana, captivating the audience with her confidence and grace.

The event was graced by Mrs Nidhi Ghai, Headmistress of Pre-Primary sections, along with Ms. Priyanka Grover, the Officiating Principal of Apeejay School, Model Town, who played a pivotal role in organising and overseeing the proceedings, ensuring that the event was executed smoothly and was a memorable experience for all.

Learning is not merely about acquiring knowledge; it’s about igniting a spark within each child, inspiring them to explore, question, and discover the world around them. Events like ‘Vidya Aagam’ provide a nurturing environment where children can embark on their educational journey in a fun and engaging way. With dedicated educators like Ms. Grover and supportive parents by their side, these young learners are poised to cultivate a lifelong thirst for knowledge and a commitment to excellence.
