Apeejay professor delivers keynote speech at national conference on sustainable technology management

Anuj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka, Delhi, was invited as a distinguished keynote speaker at a ‘National Conference’ held this month. The event, organised by Guru Nanak Institute of Management (GNIM) in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, revolved around the theme of “Management and IT Contribution Towards Sustainable Development: G20.” With a strong focus on sustainability and the role of technology, Professor Kumar’s insightful address offered valuable insights into sustainable management practices within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

During his speech, the Apeejay professor delved into the challenges faced by SMEs in effectively harnessing technology for sustainable management. He emphasised the critical importance of overcoming operational roadblocks to maximise the potential benefits that technology can bring to SMEs and, consequently, the overall Indian economy. In particular, he highlighted the key obstacles hindering the successful implementation and utilisation of technology at the SME level.

The audience eagerly absorbed Professor Kumar’s expertise as he shared his knowledge on optimising technology usage for young researchers and academicians. He addressed the significant problems faced by academicians in the research domain, specifically focusing on the operational aspects of integrating technology into their work. His valuable insights and practical solutions resonated with the attendees, making his keynote speech both motivational and inspirational.

Dr Maninder Kaur, Director of GNIM, expressed deep admiration for the professor’s outstanding contributions to research. He emphasised the criticality of addressing operational challenges in technology adoption to unlock its full potential for SMEs and the overall Indian economy. Prof. Kumar extended his heartfelt appreciation to Dr Kaur and the entire GNIM team for extending this esteemed opportunity.
