A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body and a healthy youth are very important for a healthy future of the nation. Fitness is an important part of the curriculum and Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park has always stood for fitness. Keeping this in mind the school organized Fit India School Week, as part of the national movement to promote fitness and well-being. The celebration commenced with a pledge-taking ceremony, setting the tone for a series of engaging and educational activities for students of Classes III to XII.
The week-long program featured regional games, quizzes, poster-making, creative writing, slogan-writing, and more. These activities aimed to inspire students to embrace healthy habits and understand the importance of fitness in their daily lives. Engaging themes such as Get Fit – Don’t Quit, Say No to Junk Food, and Fit India – Hit India, sparked creativity and awareness among the students.
The vibrant posters, catchy slogans, and thoughtful essays produced by the students not only reflected their talent but also conveyed their understanding of holistic health. She added, “As a sports teacher, my vision is to see our school soar to new heights, not just in our zone, but nationally, as a beacon of excellence in sports. Let’s move, let’s groove, and let’s make fitness and sports a way of life for our future generations.”
