Mrs Richa Tripathi, a content developer at Made Easy Publications, is the mother of Neelansh and Neelima Tripathi, kindergarten students at Apeejay Panchsheel Park.  Her husband Suneel Kumar is a faculty at Made Easy institute. In an interview, she shares her reasons for choosing the school, the progress of her children and her perceptions about the online classes. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, over other schools for your child’s admission?

We got very good reviews about the school. A number of our friends suggested to us to get our kids enrolled here. I must say, I am very satisfied with the school. I don’t have any regrets about my decision. The school is also near my home. So, proximity is also another reason for choosing it.

Please tell us a bit about your children and take us through their progress at school?

Both of them are excellent at academics. They love participating in every extra-curricular activity, especially speeches. They love to speak on any topic whenever any activity happens in the class. They love drawing as well. They are twins, so they study together and have similar tastes. Both of them grasp concepts very quickly. Neelansh can draw 24/7 while Neelima likes to dance.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

Yes, the teaching style and methodology of the teachers is more than satisfactory. All the teachers really teach very well. I would like to thank Honey Ma’am, class teacher of KG-B and Alka Ma’am, class teacher of KG-A, for their efforts.

What is the best thing about the school?

I think it has to be their thematic curriculum and learning approaches. I like their teaching pattern a lot as well. In my opinion these are the best things about Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park.

What are your perceptions about the online classes?

In the time of the pandemic, the online classes were most beneficial for the little kids. They have not been able to see the school physically yet but they have been kept engaged by the school. Online classes are the need of the hour. The personal interaction of the physical classes is missed but the online classes have been pretty good and the school authorities have put in their best efforts.
