Apeejay members reflect on the ideals of Founder Chairman Dr Stya Paul on his 15th Punyatithi

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised a special prayer meeting to commemorate the 15th Punyatithi of Late Dr Stya Paul, Founder Chairman , Apeejay Stya Group & Apeejay Education. It was an occasion to seek blessings and salute the noble and great personality for being a visionary and inspiration to all of us.

The event began with Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, along with faculty members, paying homage to the visionary leader. Following this, Dr. Rajesh Bagga addressed the gathering describing Dr. Stya Paul Ji as a paternal figure to everyone, highlighting the personal care and concern he had for each member of the extensive Apeejay family.

Dr Bagga further highlighted that Dr. Stya Paul ji’s dedication, commitment and optimistic attitude even in the face of challenges and obstacles is a key learning for all.  

Dr. Stya Paul Ji was an enterprising individual, a firm disciplinarian, and a guiding light throughout his life. Dr. Bagga also added, “Even though our Founder Chairman is not physically present with us, his legacy continues in the form of institutions that he built.” Each of these institutions”, he mentioned, “are living monuments that stand for the values and pursuit of excellence that Dr. Stya Ji Paul cherished.”

Dr. Bagga shared various hues of the great life of this remarkable man, beginning with snippets from his childhood to the accomplishments of his youth. Dr. Bagga exhorted the members of staff to help realise the vision of Dr. Stya Paul Ji by adopting his qualities like punctuality, industriousness, fearlessness, and truthfulness.

The address was followed by listening to Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s favourite hymns and bhajans.

The members of the faculty vowed to do their best in the field of education for the welfare of the students. Seeking inspiration from the Founder Chairman, who was the epitome of resilience and determination, the members of the faculty took a pledge that they would try their best to make Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s dream and vision come true. The prayer meeting concluded by observing silence to pay respect and tribute to the noble soul. Prashad was distributed in the end.
