She pursued an MBA in Human Resources from Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar. “It has been a transformative experience for me, both professionally and personally,” emphasised Khushi Chopra who has recently bagged a job offer from Sonalika, the 3rd largest tractor brand in India.
As someone who aspires to build a successful career in HR, particularly in the areas of employee engagement and growth, for Khushi choosing the right institution was crucial. “I’m glad I chose AIMETC. The moment I stepped into the campus, I could sense the vibrant academic environment that would shape the next two years of my life,” she mentioned while further adding, “The faculty members have been more than just teachers; they’ve been mentors who’ve helped guide me towards my career aspirations. Their dedication to nurturing talent and supporting students’ goals played a significant role in my decision to pursue my MBA here.”
Khushi highlighted that throughout her journey at AIMETC she has learned more than just theories and concepts. “Apeejay has offered me countless opportunities to enhance my soft skills—something incredibly essential in the HR field. From group projects and presentations to role-playing exercises and interactive workshops, I developed strong communication, leadership, time management, and teamwork skills. These are not just bullet points on my resume; they are qualities I now carry with confidence and use in every aspect of my academic and professional life.”
Sharing about one of the most cherished memories from Apeejay, Khushi expressed, “It has to be Pinnacle, the annual cultural and management fest. Participating and performing in the event was a highlight of my time here. The thrill of being on stage, the camaraderie with peers, and finally, the joy of receiving a prize in front of an enthusiastic audience made the experience unforgettable. It was moments like these that taught me how to manage responsibilities under pressure while still enjoying the journey.”
She also said that AIMETC offers excellent placement support. “The Career Guidance and Placement Cell works closely with students to ensure we are industry-ready, and the practical exposure we receive through internships and workshops adds immense value. The institution’s continuous efforts to stay updated with the latest industry trends have helped me gain relevant insights that I will carry into my future career in HR.”
Looking back at her journey at Apeejay, for Khushi it has been a perfect blend of learning, growth, and enjoyment. It has laid a strong foundation for the HR professional I aspire to become, and I am excited to step into the corporate world with the skills, memories, and confidence this institute has given me.”
