How would you describe your school life at Apeejay, Faridabad?

Those were truly the best years of my life. I joined Apeejay in 1987 and completed Class 12 in 1999 with a Non-Medical stream and Computer Science. From the friendships I formed to the bonds with my teachers – every day was memorable. I still remember the morning assemblies, the excitement of Sports Day, inter-school competitions, and musical events. It was a beautiful mix of academics and extracurricular learning.

Were there any particular values you picked up from school that stayed with you?

Absolutely. Discipline was a core value that Apeejay instilled in me early on. Our then Principal till Class 7, was known for his strictness and high standards – he made sure we understood the importance of punctuality and order. Later, under another Principal, we learnt ethics, perseverance, and confidence. One quote of his still echoes in my mind: “If you think you can, then you can” That one line has carried me through many challenges in life.

What made Apeejay different, according to you?

What set Apeejay apart was its focus on holistic education. It wasn’t just about scoring marks – it was about becoming an all-rounder. Whether it was basketball (my favourite sport), music competitions or school events, every child was encouraged to participate, express and grow. The teachers were deeply invested in our success – they went beyond classroom teaching to help us grow as individuals.

Any message for current students of Apeejay?

Enjoy every moment. Respect your teachers. And absorb the values the school gives you – they will become your strength in the real world. Apeejay gave me my foundation, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.
