Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA) in Jalandhar marked the 12th Punya Tithi of Rajeshwari Paul, the First Lady of Apeejay Stya Group. On this special occasion, the Apeejay family remembered Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, beloved wife of late Founder-Chairman Dr Stya Paul, for her profound kindness, gentle nature, and unwavering commitment to spirituality and philanthropy.

With expertise in fine arts, singing, and dancing, Smt. Rajeshwari Paul had harboured a deep desire to popularise these forms of expression among the masses. Her pivotal role in inspiring the establishment of Rajeshwari Kala Sangam, now known as Apeejay College of Fine Arts remains indelible. Currently, the college stands as a beacon of cultural preservation and heritage, instilling cultural roots in the younger generation.

On this momentous occasion, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of the college, underscored the importance of preserving the rich heritage left by Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul Ji and passing it on to future generations. She emphasised that connecting the youth with the development of fine arts would be the most meaningful tribute to Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul Ji’s enduring legacy. Her unwavering determination to advance in every field served as a profound source of inspiration for Dr. Stya Paul Ji in his endeavors to promote fine arts.

In a touching tribute, Dr. Vivek Verma from the Department of Music, paid homage to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji by reciting her favourite bhajans, adding a melodic dimension to the commemoration. Dr. Dhingra, along with all faculty members, joined in paying their respects to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji, reflecting on her immense contributions and lasting impact on the college and the wider community.
