Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar witnessed a moment of immense pride and celebration as 13 of its outstanding students were honoured with Gold Medals at the Golden Jubilee Convocation Ceremony of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU). The prestigious ceremony was made even more memorable with the presence of Mrs. Droupadi Murmu, the Hon’ble President of India, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The achievement marks a significant milestone not only for the awardees but also for Apeejay College of Fine Arts, which has consistently nurtured talent across diverse academic and creative disciplines. The gold medalists exemplified academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance, reinforcing the institution’s legacy of producing high achievers who excel at the university and national levels.
Held during the Golden Jubilee year of Guru Nanak Dev University, the convocation celebrated academic distinction and scholastic commitment. Students from Apeejay College of Fine Arts stood out among thousands of graduates for their exceptional performance in their respective programmes. The recipients of the Gold Medals included Vanshita Arora (B.Sc. Economics), Danish Jain (Bachelor of Design), Sukhman Kaur (Bachelor of Computer Applications), Tarannum (Bachelor of Fine Arts), Yuvraj Singh (B.Sc. Mobile Technology), Ira Jain (B.Design Multimedia), Sahibjeet Singh (M.A. Music – Instrumental), Nishtha Sarangal (M.A. Dance), Bhavini Verma (M.A. Fine Arts), Amrit Kaur (M.A. English), Inayat (Master of Commerce), Anupreet (Master in Fine Arts), and Rachita Jain (M.Design Multimedia).


These achievements reflect the students’ consistent hard work and the strong academic foundation provided by the college. Apeejay College of Fine Arts has long been recognised for encouraging both academic rigor and creative exploration, enabling students to achieve excellence across streams such as economics, commerce, technology, design, fine arts, music, dance, and languages.
